Yellowcard & New Found Glory

Pop-punk icons New Found Glory have announced a fall co-headline tour with Yellowcard, along with special guest Tigers Jaw!

“Yellowcard and NFG share a lot of the same fans and we knew putting together a tour like this would make a lot of people happy. Both bands have long careers and out lasted the trends to develop real core fans. Tigers Jaw is an awesome band that I love who also have a cult like following! Gonna be fun getting to watch them every night on the tour.” says guitarist Chad Gilbert.

New Found Glory is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik (vocals),Chad Gilbert (guitar), Ian Grushka (bass) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). During their lengthy recording career, the band have released eight studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and three cover albums.

Emerging as part of the second wave of pop punk in the late 1990s, music critics consider them a key pioneer of the genre. Labelled the “godfathers of pop punk”,AllMusic credits them for “practically serving alongside the work of Blink-182 as the blueprint to the entire genre for the early 2000sAlso renowned for their energetic live performances, the band has garnered a cult following since their inception.

New Found Glory released their newest studio album “Resurrection” on October 7^th via Hopeless Records. The album debuted at #25 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, surpassing the band’s 2011 release, Radiosurgery, in both sales numbers and charting position. Yellowcard is an American pop punk/alternative rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and based in Los Angeles since 2000. Their music features the use of a violin, which brings a melodic element to the genre. They are best known for their singles “Ocean Avenue”, “Lights and Sounds”, and “Light Up the Sky”. The band went on a two-year hiatus from 2008 through 2010 and they returned with their seventh studio album, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes, in March 2011, and then Southern Air in August 2012. Their most recent album, Lift a Sail, was released October 7, 2014, with lead single “One Bedroom.”
