Yanni, the multiple GRAMMY Award-nominated composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer whose extraordinary body of work has both pioneered contemporary instrumental music and re-imagined the live concert-going experience returns, accompanied by his 15-member master musician international orchestra, to the Sands Event Center in support of his new release (January 2016), Sensuous Chill.

 

For over two decades, Yanni has been one of the world’s top selling live acts, performing on almost every continent, in more than 35 countries, before a cumulative worldwide audience of more than 5 million and counting. In North America alone his concert tours have been named among Pollstar’s top 10 tours of the year.

 

Since making his solo debut Yanni has had 15 albums reach #1 on Billboard’s “Top New Age Albums” chart – more than any other artist ever – with 1994’s LIVE AT THE ACROPOLIS also reaching the top 5 on the overall “Billboard 200” on its way to 4x platinum certification from the RIAA and total worldwide sales in excess of 7 million.

 

He has taken his universal music to such iconic landmarks as India’s Taj Mahal, China’s Forbidden City, most recently is the focus of a spectacular new PBS Special YANNI: THE DREAM CONCERT - LIVE FROM THE GREAT PYRAMIDS OF EGYPT –which air nationwide in March 2016.
