If you’re a fan of the music of 1960s-‘70s Detroit, and love the “Motown Sound” better get your tickets quick to see The Temptations and The Four Tops, with a careers spanning 40 years, both groups have left their marks on the history of music.

The Four Tops helped define the Motown sound with songs such as “Baby I Need Your Lovin’,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” Reach Out, I’ll Be There,” “Ain’t No Woman Like the One I Got” and “In The Still of the Night.” The current Four Tops repertoire includes soul music, rhythm and blues, disco, pop, doo-wop, jazz and show tunes, along with the hits you love.

The Temptations, with hits including “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me),” “Smiling Faces Sometimes,” “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” and “Get Ready”, are a group of five known for their soul and R&B harmonies, choreography, performance wardrobes and success with Motown Records, they are ranked at No. 68 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.
