Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert, the androgynous, raven-haired showman, who has a penchant for classic rock, leather pants and black eyeliner makes his first appearance at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Lambert became a fan favorite on the eighth season of American Idol. His campy, theatrical style, combined with the sheer power of his voice drew comparisons with legendary Glam rockers David Bowie and Freddie Mercury to Hard Rock Superstars Robert Plant and Roger Daltry.

Even though he eventually finished runner up, Lambert’s Idol run vaulted him from virtual unknown to pop sensation, and he quickly stormed the pop charts thereafter.

Lambert released his debut album, ‘For Your Entertainment‘, in November 2009. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 in December 2009, selling 198,000 copies in the United States in the first week. To date, he is the first American Idol contestant to headline a world-wide tour in support of a debut album

Emboldened by his passionate fan-base, Lambert released his second studio album, ‘Trespassing‘, in 2012. The album premiered at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, making him the first openly gay artist to top the album charts. His third album, ‘The Original High’, was released in 2015 and debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200.

Alongside his solo career, Lambert has collaborated with rock band Queen as lead vocalist since 2011, culminating in a successful world tours from 2014 to 2016.
